Camp GetWise is open to all young women and men entering grades 6-12.

NIU’s 514 acre main campus in DeKalb is located one mile north of the East-West Tollway (Interstate 88) near the junction of state highways 38 and 23.
Residential campers $495 ($525 after June 1, 2009); returning Get Wise campers are eligible for a $25 discount on request.

Campers reside and eat in the residence hall on NIU’s campus in DeKalb, Illinois. Two campers share a room; campers may request a specific roommate.
All linens and pillows are provided. There is adult supervision at all times. Counselors and instructors live in the residence halls with the students.
Campers dine in the residence hall cafeteria. They may eat as much as they want in the cafeteria, but may not take food out.
Northern Illinois University is located 65 miles west of Chicago and 45 miles southeast of Rockford.
Additional details, including check-in and orientation instructions, parking information, what to bring to camp, and camper rules, will be mailed to you after your registration form and camp fee have been received.
